Cynergy is an Authorized Service Provider for several industry-leading electronic manufacturers. The CynergyOne ERP features as device specific serialized and historical repair database.
Receiving

The CynergyOne ERP system features a Parcel Management feature that acknowledges the delivery of an RMA in real-time. This process allows Cynergy the ability to inform our customers that their product has arrived as expected.

Workers utilize the CynergyOne RMA registration feature to receive-in as a single item or as a RMA lot.
Triage

The devices undergo the following sequences to determine the condition and to establish the repair path:
  • Charging
  • Data Wipe
  • Device Unlock
  • Function test and cosmetic verification
  • RF Test
After our triage team diagnoses the device and records the symptoms, our the CynergyOne system determines the correct repair path to transfer the devices too.
Repair

Before the repair process can begin, a technician will accept the transfers from triage and segregate the devices based on their triage results. Each device then has the LCM and bezel removed to make the repair process quicker and easier.

As the repair technician replaces the defective components, they will record the part consumption and the repair process into the system. After a partial assembly, a quality verification (QV) technician will perform a function test to verify that that the repair team has completed all the necessary repairs. If a device fails at this stage, the QV technician will return the device to the repair line for final testing and assembly.
Testing

Each manufacturer specifies its own test requirements, sequence and equipment to assure that their devices meet the highest standards. For example, audio test equipment measures the frequency response and audio distortion of a device and determines a pass or fail result.

After the manufacture specific tests, all devices undergo an RF test using cellular analyzers. These tests cover all cellular protocols that the device supports. The manufacturer or the cellular network creates the parameters and specifications for these tests.
QC

Using manufacture designed software; a quality control technician will perform a function test to ensure each device meets the required specifications. Each technician also verifies that the cosmetics and software versions meet the requirements of the cellular network. Using ANSI/ASQ standards, the system will select a random device to undergo the outbound function and cosmetic checks a second time during an out of box audit. Quality control technicians segregate any nonconforming devices for further analysis. A separate quality control technician performs a root cause analysis, and then quality and production management create and act on corrective and preventative actions.

At the end of the outbound quality check, an operator will reset the device to factory settings either by using the device setting or by using the cellular networks software.
Parts

Parts are stored in a climate and access controlled area with camera surveillance. These parts are ordered directly from OEM's, using our advanced demand-planning module. This module analyzes multiple inputs with forecast and WIP being the main variables. Workers examine pallets and boxes for damage after every shipment is received. Workers then move the materials to our parts-room where the receiving team will inspect, verify quantity, and accept parts into the system.

As repair line technicians need parts for their lines, they place internal orders to acquire the parts. For inventory control purposes, the system records anytime a member of the repair team consumes a part.
Shipping

Only devices that have passed all appropriate quality checks are considered ready to be shipped out. Workers then cleaned and packaged each device according to the cellular networks or OEM specifications. Workers separate the devices by project and model then they are delivered to the shipping department. Shipping technicians return the units to the cellular networks distribution centers by creating and filling RMAs. Nationally recognized shipping companies handle most deliveries while a Cynergy owned and operated vehicle handles most local deliveries.
